Graphic Design Intern

THE PROGRAM:

This is a rigorous 3-6 month program, a proving ground for young professionals that want to break into advertising. This is neither school, nor advertising camp. You won’t just learn; you will effectively contribute in a fast-paced advertising agency environment. There are no guarantees of getting hired, but our interns do have a strong track record of finding employment in the advertising industry.

THE COMPENSATION:

Months 1-3 | $10

Months 4-6 | $15

THE JOB:

Talent and skills will get your foot in the door, but this career is more than pushing pixels. At Tattoo Projects, get a feel for the pressure of million-dollar accounts, develop an empathy for start-up hustlers. Learn how to interact with account services, understand how to integrate with the production team, dev team, account service, and the motion graphics department. Gain the confidence to work as individuals, in small teams, and how to present to clients. A lot of success in advertising is gaining confidence under pressure through experience and repetition, and at Tattoo Projects you will get that experience.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting in concepting, developing imagery and graphic treatments to accompany headlines and copy for print, digital, out-of-home, and interactive advertising campaigns. This includes branding, social media, presentations, video content, web design and internal communications content. Duties include meeting with internal departments and clients to determine the needs of specific tasks and projects. You will gain the ability to complete and revise projects based on internal and client feedback. You will work alongside the creative department and be included in the design process from kickoff to final product delivery.
